    Navaratri Celebration at Anandathirtha

Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights (and ten days) and is celebrated every year in the autumn.

Navaratri was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement by the students of our school. The dress code for the day being "Ethnic" , brought out the vibrancy of colours and traditional attires, that India is so well known for , the world over.

The actual show had students dancing to Mahisha Mardhini song by depicting the nine Avatars of Goddess Durga. Also they painted themselves to look like a tiger and danced to express their gratitude to Goddess Durga.

The spirit of navaratri had descended on one and all at Anandathirtha that day.
