    Vanamahotsava

    1100 students of the school observed Green Day on 28th June in the school campus.

     A key highlight of the day was the 80m x 50 m tall tree structure that was created by students  and was aerially photographed with the assistance of drone camera. Students dressed in green, brown and red clothing formed the trunk, the branches, leaves and flowers of the tree.

     About 350 saplings were  planted across the campus by children to stay true to the message of ‘Save and Grow Trees, Save Lives”.

    A ‘Fruit Bearing Plant Exhibition was conducted too. Kids had brought a fruit bearing sapling from their home gardens and explained the benefits of the specific fruits to the visitors. They also received valuable inputs on growing and caring for fruit trees from Mr. Ramakrishana Sharma, the President of Farmers Association, Udupi and Mr. PundarikaMarathe, Journalist and Social Activist, Bantakal.
