Deepawali Celebration at Anandathirtha

Deepawali is the festival of lights .  It is one of the widely celebrated festival. With this festival are associated many lores and legends. It marks the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and the homecoming of Lord Rama after an exile of 14 years.

Our students celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto. The day started with a special morning assembly wherein students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of ecofriendly celebrations. Various other activities such as Rangoli making,  paper lantern making contests were organised in all the classes.
