Sri Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji - Founder

Sri Vishwesha Theertharu was born in 1931 at Ramakunja to a Shivalli Tulu Brahmin family and his pre-Sanyasa name was Venkatrama. He was ordained into Sanyasa at the young age of 8 years in 1938. His vidya guru is Vidyamanya Theertharu of Sri Bhandarkeri Math.

The Swamiji assumed first Paryaya, turn to worship Lord Krishna at Udupi, at a young age. During his first Paryaya in 1954, he organized the All India Madhva Conference in Udupi. During his second Paryaya in 1968, he got the Badagumalige in Udupi repaired. During his third tenure as Paryaya Swamiji in 1984, he has got a new hall built at Udupi called Krishna Dhama.

Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji - President

Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha Swamiji is the current Swamiji of the Pejawara Adokshaja Mathas, one of the ashta Mathas belonging to the Dvaita school of philosophy, founded by Sri Madhwacharya.

The Swamiji is involved in various social service organisations, and is said to have started many educational and social service organisations.

Sri. Nagaraj Ballal

Sri N. Nagaraj Ballal, a B.E. (civil) graduate, has 35 years’ experience in construction field. He is the president of Vidyodaya Group of Institutions and has 22 years’ rich experience in administration of schools and colleges. Since conceptual stage, he is with Ananda Thirtha Vidyalaya, Pajaka and has been the chief guiding force in all the activities of the institution. He is a philanthropist and has been supporting the cause of education to poor children by sponsorship of fees through Vidyaposhak organization and his own family trust, Ballal Foundations.

Sri. Srihari Bhat

Sri Srihari Bhat MSc CAIIB is a retired Banker, retired as General Manager in a reputed public sector Bank having put in about 40 years of service. Now he is also empanneled as Chairman of interview committee of Bankers for selection of officers to the Public Sector Banks in Karnataka.

Sri. V.M.Samaga

Born in 1950, he is a graduate of Science and Law. Joined the Banking services in 1971 and worked in various capacities. He is also a “Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers”. His exposure in Banking services towards General Banking, Business Administration , Credit Administration, Accounts & Audit and Treasury management. He has retired from the services of the bank in 2010 as Deputy General manager ( Treasury & Accounts). After retirement he was rendering Honorary consultation to few of the Business & Industrial firms for quite some time.

Sri. B.S.Samaga

Born on 2nd August, 1946 at Udupi taluk he had his primary education at Kunjarugiri and High School at Innanje. He had his B.Sc from MGM college Udupi. Immediately after graduation he joined Nehru High School, Alevoor as Science teacher. He joined Syndicate Bank in 1971 at Chamraj Nagar. On promotion he went to Solapur. He has worked in Bangalore, Belgaum, Madhavanagar, Nittur, Hariharpur and Barkur Branches. He retired as Senior Manager from Regional office Uupi. He has worked as Branch manager of various branches for 19 years. During his service in Syndicate Bank he had undergone various training programs including managerial training at Pune. He was in Rotary for 14 years and was president of Rotary club Nitte during 1996-97.

Sri. K. Sudarshan Rao

Is the old student of Kunjarugirija school, Kunjarugiri . He is keenly into social service and is the panchayath member of Kurkalu Grama Panchayath since last 10 years. He is involved in agriculture and a member of Farmers Association of Udupi.

Sri. Laxminarayan Upadya

Is an old student of Kunjarugirija School Kunjarugiri . He is a Civil engineer by profession . He has been a part of growth of several schools & colleges . He is a Vice president of Giribalaga- Kunjarugiri ,& director of Samhita Co-operative society –Udupi.

Sri. Madhwaraj Bhat

Is an disciple of Sri Sri Sri Vishwesha thirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt and is a priest by profession. He takes up Bhagavadgeetha & Shloka classes in Anandathirtha Vidyalaya.

Smt. Roopa N. Ballal

Smt.Roopa N. Ballal is wife of Sri.N.Nagaraj Ballal. She is a B.Sc., Home Science graduate from Bangalore University and has done M.Sc. in Yoga Therapy securing 1st rank from Manipal University. She is the joint secretary of Vidyodaya Group of Institutions. She has organized many free yoga camps for women and children. She is into social work and has donated blood to the needy on 30 odd occasions. She has considerable interest in planting trees in the premises of schools, colleges & government hospitals. She has genuine concern for poor & slum children who attend government schools and the same is reflected in her zest for imparting free coaching classes every day evening for about 30 such children at her residence for the last 5 years.
