Krishna Janmashtami 2020 - Virtual Celebration

On August 11, 2020, Anandathirtha Vidyalaya, Pajaka, Udupi, organised a virtual celebration of Janmashtami, which flowered into a grand success, owing to the absolutely zealous participation of its students and the binding presence of the Management and faculty. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the School President Mr. Nagaraj Ballal.  

The virtual programme commenced with an enthralling bhajan presentation by our Music teacher Mrs. Shreemathi Bhat. As a part of the celebration, various competitions like Radha and Krishna competition were conducted earlier. Nearly 800 students from Pre KG to XII std participated enthusiastically and exhibited their talents. The tiny tots of Pre-KG donned themselves in the attire of Lord Krishna and Radha, frolicking around with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas. The celebration culminated with the Vote of thanks and Shanti mantra. The virtual celebration was indeed truly informative, enlightening and entertaining.
