Sri Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the Ashram thithi, the eighth day of the dark half or Krishna pasha of the month of shraavana. 

In our school the day started with a special assembly. A fancy dress competition for nursery was also held where the girls were decked up as Radha and the boys as Krishna. With their laudable performance they lighted up the stage and mesmerised the audience.The students were overjoyed when they broke the 'Dahi Handi' to grace this occasion.

Krishna Janmashtami brings people together , this signifying unity and faith.
