SPL / ASPL Election

Student Pupil Leader (SPL) and Assistant Student Pupil Leader (ASPL) elections were held in June. Class X students were eligible to contest SPL elections while Class 9 students could contest for the ASPL elections.

10 students contested for the SPL elections while 5 contested for the ASPL Elections.

Students from Classes 1 to 10  were eligible to cast their votes. Election Voting was preceded by canvassing by the candidates.

Voting was digitized this year with touch screen systems used to record the choice of the voters. This saved a lot of paper and also allowed for instant results. Student voters also had their fingers inked to give them the real feel of Indian Elections.

Srusti from Class X garnered the largest number of votes to become the SPL while Abhishek from Class 9 defeated the other candidates to secure the ASPL post. Kudos to the winners.
